GSI North America Inc. (GSINA) was established in 2014 and certified as an 8(a) contractor by the Small Business Administration (SBA) on December 1, 2015. GSINA is a proven Department of Defense (DoD) contractor with core capabilities including environmental services, munitions response, and professional services. Environmental Services

Environmental Consulting and Remediation Services

GSINA is an experienced environmental services contractor possessing the technical capability and proven experience to address a wide array of environmental services. We have a team of optimally qualified professionals tailored to support the needs of our clients. Our staff is comprised of a diversity of disciplines including environmental scientists, biologist, hydrologists, geologists, chemists, planners, engineers, asbestos and lead-based paint assessors, and project managers. Each holds at least one degree within the engineering or science fields. Many have advanced degrees as well as professional licenses and registrations. We consider teamwork, technical excellence, and the use of state-of-the-art technology integral to our approach in delivering services to meet challenging deadlines and complex project assignments with efficiency and accuracy.

Munitions & Range Services

GSINA provides fully integrated and cross trained munitions response experts to support all aspects of munitions safety including munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) avoidance, escort, and construction support. Our professionals are well versed in all aspects of the CERCLA process, from Preliminary Assessment/Site Inspection through Remedial Design/Removal Action. GSINA also specializes in geophysical detection and site preparation to mitigate impacts to construction activities, and maintains an on-site presence to make immediate option determinations if/when a munition is encountered. Our operational range capabilities include planning and engineering, range assessment and clearance, storm water management, cultural/natural resource preservation, facility maintenance, and design-build range improvements/construction.

GSINA holds all appropriate Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) licenses for purchase and use of explosives, and has on staff project management personnel, engineers, scientists, geophysicists, licensed blasters, and over 60 permanent certified UXO personnel.

Construction Services GSINA provides professional services to support the DoD as well as federal and civil customers worldwide. Our team of managers and analysts provide tailored solutions for a wide range of professional services including: archival research, briefings and white papers, data and policy analysis, mission-critical training, safety and environmental staffing, and program planning and budgeting.
